The Grantsville Lions Club met January 26. It approved donating $200 to the Calhoun County Library for flood insurance, and $100 to the Leader Dog program. Members agreed to hold a basket bingo on March 7, for the Christmas Connection.
President Starling Holbert presented a Lions International award to Bob Beall for sponsoring two new members. At its February 9 meeting, the Club voted to hold a basket bingo for Relay for Life on May 16.
Members plan on attending a Zone meeting at Glenville, March 10. President Starling Holbert presented a Lions International award to Jim McCormick for sponsoring two new members. The next meeting will be Monday, February 23. The Club is always looking for members.
