UPDATE: WV SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT RESIGNS AFTER CHARLESTON PROSTITUTION STING

UPDATE - The Wetzel County Board of Education has accepted Superintendent Dennis Albright's resignation following his arrest for prostitution in Charleston. They appointed Robert Yeager as interim superintendent.

ORIGINAL STORY - Prostitution has long been declared the oldest profession, but in the USA it is illegal, and WV municipalities, a few times a year conduct prostitution stings.

Charleston police arrested six people in a prostitution sting Thursday, including a WV county school superintendent and a church pastor.

Police said Wetzel County School Superintendent Dennis Albright, 57, and former Braxton County superintendent, was arrested.

Charleston Chief of Detectives Steve Cooper said Albright was in town for legislative business.

The Wetzel County Board of Education has called a meeting to accept the resignation of the superintendent.

Also among the six arrested was, Bradford Poe, 48, a minister in Proctorville, Ohio, a web site indicates he is with the Rome Church of Christ.

Others arrested were Jeremy Dunlop, 33, of Charleston, Steve Bissell, 36, of Gandeeville (Roane County), Rob Blake, 47, of Barboursville and Andre Brown, 35, of Charleston.
