Ronald Gail "Dip" Harold, 79, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Monday, February 2, 2015, at the Roane General Hospital, Spencer. He was born December 21, 1935, at Uler, a son of the late Hobert and Claris Smith Harold. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcia Lynn Harold; a brother, Donald Harold; two sisters, Ruth Cooper and Juanita Harold. Gail was a retired employee of Pennzoil. He enjoyed coon hunting and fishing. Survivors include three sons, Jeff Harold of Dinwiddie VA, Tim Harold of Spencer and Donald Harold of Oceana WV; three brothers, Robert Harold of Newton WV, Lowell Harold of Ivydale WV and David Harold of Lynchburg VA; two sisters, Karen Harold and Judy Harold; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 4 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Daniel R. Whited officiating.
