Agnes Elsie Walker Moore, 83 - Spencer

Agnes Elsie Walker Moore, 83, of Spencer, West Virginia, departed this world to be with her Lord and Savior, January 30, 2015.

She was born May 11, 1931 at Cameron, New York, a daughter of the late James Samuel and Eldora Graham Walker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.C. "Jake" Moore; a sister, Helen Lutz; and a very special nephew, Larry Heinrich.

Survivors include four children, Janie Samples, Lynne Wakefield, Kim Aalaie and Tom Moore; a stepson, David Moore; a sister, Charlotte Loveless; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Agnes lived a fulfilling life, working as a psychiatric nurse and being a member of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean War. She also wrote poetry and performed may genres of music as a singer.

In honoring her wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. She will be cremated and laid to rest beside her loving husband at the Moore Family Cemetery, Walton.

In lieu of flowers, she requested donations be made to any Disabled American Veteran Charity.

John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
