THE GREAT PUMPKIN PATCH - Pleasant Hill Students "Field Trip"

By Jean Simers The rain held off for the Pleasant Hill Lights On Emergent Literacy project's trip to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, October 26. The Punkin Patch is located on the Butcher Family Farm at Washington, WV. The students and their parents road a school bus from Pleasant Hill School. After arriving at the Pumpkin Patch they took a hay ride and the children also enjoyed petting the animals and playing in the pumpkin playground. They also visited the pumpkin house and each child could pick out their own pumpkin to take home.
