CALHOUN BEATS BRAXTON 55-43

Calhoun High School Red Devils beat the Braxton Eagles 55-43 Thursday evening at home. Three Calhoun players had double figure scores. Tyler Sims led with 18 points, Ethyn Miller had 12, and Zack Yanero had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Dakota Jarvis added 5 points and 4 rebounds off the bench. Taylor Stout had the most points for the Eagles at 10. Calhoun is now 6-6, and will meet Webster County Tuesday night. Braxton County is now at 4-8. Calhoun Junior Varsity, now 1-8, lost to Braxton County 31-55. Braxton is now 7-3. Caden Hicks led Calhoun with 9 points, while Braxton's Payton Lockhard led his team with 11.
