| SPENCER:ROANE COUNTY REPORTER/TIMES RECORD - Gasoline Price Update: It's bad enough that gas costs 30 cents a gallon less in Ripley than Spencer, but the following is downright irritating.
A reader told me that gas was selling at $1.88 at most locations in Parkersburg Monday.
That's 61 cents a gallon cheaper than Spencer, a difference of more than $10 on a 17-gallon fill-up.
At this rate, it won't be long before it's worth a drive from Spencer to Parkersburg and back, a round trip of over 100 miles, for no other reason than to fill your tank. - David Hedges, Publisher |
