| Patricia L. Ludwig, 84, of Elizabeth, W.Va., passed away Jan. 9, 2015, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus. She was born in Wirt County, the daughter of the late Virgil and Ethel (Seaton) Cheuvront. She was a 1948 graduate of Wirt County High. She was a member of Elizabeth United Methodist Church since 1944, had been charge of communion for 40 years and was a member of the Esther Circle. She volunteered at the Elizabeth Hope Shop (Food Pantry); was a 50-year member of Wirt Eastern Star 113; and a member of Wirt County Senior Citizens and Wirt County High School Alumni Association. Pat was an avid Tiger fan and had attended state basketball tournaments for over 30 years. She assisted for many years at Tiger Paw Florist of Elizabeth, W.Va. She will be dearly missed by so many. She is survived by her children, Suellen (Mike) Calebaugh and Mark (Robin) Ludwig all of Elizabeth, W.Va.; grandchildren, Laurie Basabe of Okinawa, Japan, Natalie Casto of Barboursville, W.Va., Daniel (Lisa) Ludwig of Smithville, W.Va., and David Calebaugh of Gonzalo, La.; great grandchildren, Trinity and Conner Casto of Barboursville , Elizabeth Rose Ludwig of Smithville, and Aiden Ludwig of Elizabeth ; and extended family, Beth (Rodeny) Settle, David Smith, Luke Smith, Miriam Smith, Sarah (Colton) Anderson and Virginia Lee Whited. She was preceded in death by both her parents and her beloved husband, Chester "Burrhead" Ludwig. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth, W.Va., with Rev. Lee Williams and Rev. Paul Russell officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, with an Eastern Star Service at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial donations can be made to GAP, P.O. Box 639, Elizabeth WV 26143.
