| MOTEL MURDER - One person is dead, and three suspects are in custody after a deadly shooting Sunday at Motel 6 in Cross Lanes.
A man was fatally shot in a room by a man who walked in wearing a ski mask and opened fire, according to Metro 911 dispatchers, the victim shot in the head.
The suspect then left the motel and led police on a high speed pursuit into North Charleston.
The pursuit lasted about ten minutes before the driver crashed the car into a telephone pole on Patrick Street. Police detained three suspects that were in the car, said Metro 911.
Police also recovered weapons inside the car.
Police do not know the motive of the shooting, and no names were released Sunday night.
