BRAXTON MAN CHARGED WITH BEATING WOMAN - Regional Arrests

A Braxton County man is behind bars and is facing charges for malicious wounding.

38-year-old Michael George allegedly punched a woman in the face knocking her to the ground, but it didn't stop there. He allegedly continued to punch and kick her while she laid on the floor.

Police say the woman had a large bruise and swelling under her eye, her nose was bleeding, and she had scratches and bruises on her back. The woman said this incident happened over money and property.

George is charged with malicious assault, wounding, battery. He is in Central Regional Jail.

Calhoun authorities arrested Thomas Carlton Ullum for driving revoked DUI-2nd offense and was taken to Central Regional Jail.

Kenneth Thomas Legg, 26, was charged by Braxton authorities for possession with intent to deliver. He is being held in Central Regional.

Ralph Douglas Blankenship was arrested in Braxton County and charged with violating a protective order.

A Braxton County man, Michael Jimmy McKinney, 21, was arrested and incarcerated over the weekend, facing multiple charges.

McKinney is in Central Regional Jail, charged with domestic battery, battery on a responder, obstructing, giving false information and probation violation.

Melissa Mildred Jarvis, 41, of Braxton has been charged with DUI-2nd and related charges. She is in Central Regional Jail.

A Wirt County man, David Lee Lanham, 30, has been incarcerated in North Central Regional Jail for violation of home confinement.
