PARKERSBURG ROBBERY - Parkersburg Police say an armed robbery happened early Sunday morning at Gary's Always Hot.

Shortly before 3:00 a.m. police say a white male wearing a black hoodie showed up to the business and pulled out a gun and demanded money from the clerk.

The clerk complied and the suspect left on foot. Police say no one was hurt.

MAN SHOT DURING DISPUTE - A Lincoln County man was shot during a domestic situation at a home in the Harts area, West Virginia State Police say.

Troopers said it was a domestic situation between a stepson and father. They said witnesses told them the stepfather was under the influence of medication and attacked his stepson.

That's when his stepson tried to defend himself.

The victim was shot once to the right side of his head. He was flown to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

The stepson has not been arrested at this time. The case will go to a grand jury for review to decide if charges are appropriate.

Meanwhile, a Lincoln County Sheriff's deputy responding to the shooting was involved in a crash on W.Va. 10 in the Branchland area. The accident closed the roadway for nearly two hours and resulted in two kids being flown by helicopter to the hospital. Three others also were hurt.

DEPUTY SHOOTS MAN - A sheriff's deputy shot and wounded a man in Terry Tuesday in Raleigh County.

Deputies responded to a domestic violence and shots fired call. When they arrived they found that during an argument, Grover Jordan allegedly fired a shot at his girlfriend.

Police say he then raised the rifle at officers when deputies confronted him. Police said they fired a shot at Jordan and hit him in the shoulder.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment and was arrested upon his release.

Jordan is charged with attempted murder and wanton endangerment.

YOUTH DEATH OF ACCIDENTAL GUNSHOT - A 19-year old Cameron, Marshall Co. youth is dead and a 14-year old is hospitalized after an accidental shooting.

The two victims were playing with a gun Friday evening at a home in Cameron. The boys believed the gun was unloaded.

It was not.

The shot struck the 19-year old victim in the forehead and he later died at a local hospital. The second victim remains hospitalized.

Police say there were three other teens in the home when the shooting occurred. The incident remains under investigation.
