Carole K. Vineyard, 73, of Newton, West Virginia, died Monday, December 22, 2014, at the Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

She was born January 28, 1941 at Elana WV, a daughter of the late Denver and Cora McClain Morris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Truman; a daughter-in-law, Leah Truman.

Survivors include her husband, Neal F. Vineyard, Sr. of Newton; sons, Keith Truman of Spencer WV, Kenneth Truman and his wife, Tammy of Mt. Hope WV, Kirk Truman of Pennsylvania and Kyle Truman of Newton; daughter-in-law, Eleanor Dee Truman of Newton; stepsons, Neal F. Vineyard, Jr. of Newton and Michael J. Vineyard and his wife Angie of Spencer; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Harlan Drake of Spencer; brother and sister-in-law, Marlin and Marsha Morris of Newton.

There will be no visitation or funeral. She has been cremated and a memorial graveside service will be held at the Laurel Point Cemetery, Newton, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Laurel Point Cemetery, c/o Nancy Cottrell, Secretary, 301 Cut Off Road, Newton, WV 25266 or Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W., Charleston, WV 25387-2536.

John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
