CIRCUIT COURT WILL HEAR TWO FELONY CASES MONDAY

Calhoun Circuit Court will be in session Monday starting at 10 a.m. with Judge David W. Nibert presiding.

There are two felony cases on the docket.

Richard Wayne, who was sentenced one to five years in the state penitentiary last December, the sentence suspended for home confinement with electronic monitoring.

Wayne had been charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (marijuana), a felony.

The court will hear a motion to modify the terms and conditions of his sentence.

Joshua Thomas Slider, who has been felony charged with operating or attempting to operate a clandestine meth lab and exposure of meth to a child, will have a plea hearing.

Sixteen juvenile cases are on the docket.
