BRAXTON MAN SHOOTS MAN WITH SHOTGUN

A Braxton County man, Charles Mitchell Eubank, 60, of Flatwoods, is facing felony charges of wanton endangerment and malicious assault/battery. He is in Central Regional Jail. Eubank allegedly shot a man with a shotgun and struck another man in the leg. He was apparently involved in an argument over babysitting the victim's children. Eubank allegedly shoved another man and loaded a shotgun before shooting the victim. The victim was transported to Braxton County Memorial Hospital, his condition is unknown. Scott Eugene Carper, 50, has been charged by Roane authorities and charged with obstructing. A Roane man, Mark Allen Bowen, 41, is in Central Regional Jail, charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Chaz Allen Simmons, 24, is in CRJ for bond revocation in Roane. Another Roane County man, Denny Lee Rhodes, 44, has been charged by authorities with domestic assault 1st/2nd. Rhodes is also charged with domestic battery. He is being held in Central Regional Jail.
