FEDS BRING CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST FREEDOM INDUSTRIES EXECUTIVES IN WV WATER CONTAMINATION SPILL

In the USA, it is generally a sideshow when big corporations commit criminal acts, much like the US banks and Wall Street debacle that plunged America into a deep recession, few ever getting charged or going to jail. They get a pass as free marketeers.

At the same time, in WV, small businesses and individuals face criminal charges for minor environmental violations.

Politically, at least half of Americans rail against corporate and environmental over-regulation, albeit there is plenty of that.

West Virginia politicians have thrived and most of their voters have agreed that the evil regulators kill jobs and hold the economy back.

Never mind the toxic chemical spill by Freedom Industries that poisoned the water of 300,000 West Virginians or Massey Coal amassing a billion dollars of environmental and safety violations.

Those nasty regulators and the federal government have done the despicable, they have indicted Freedom Industries executives and Massey Coal's former CEO Don Blankenship for alleged crimes against West Virginians.
