GRANTSVILLE MAN FACING ROANE CHARGES

A Grantsville man, John D. Hickman, 60, is facing multiple charges in Roane County, waiving his case in magistrate court to Roane Circuit Court. Hickman was arrested by Sgt. Bo Williams of the Roane County Sheriffs Department on Nov. 21, and charged with fleeing DUI, driving while license was suspended DUI-3rd, both felonies, in addition to another charge. Hickman posted $26,000 bond and was released after four days in Central Regional Jail. Roane authorities issued a citation to Tammy L. McHenry of Broomstick Rd., Big Bend, charging her with simple possession of a controlled substance.
