GILMER WOMAN CHARGED WITH MALICIOUS ASSAULT AND WOUNDING

A Gilmer County woman was charged Wednesday with malicious assault, wounding and battery. Rachel Ann Clark, 35, is in Central Regional Jail with bail set at $25,000. Benjamin Joel Cruikshanks, 34, has been charged by Clay authorities with daytime burglary, breaking and entering and receiving and transferring stolen property. He is being held in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $50,000.
