MT. ZION PSD CONSIDERING PURCHASING WATER FROM GILMER PSD

The Mt. Zion PSD is looking at purchasing water from the Gilmer County PSD, according to an agency report. Currently the the PSD is purchasing water from the Town of Grantsville, for about 350 customers over a wide area of the county, stretching from Mt. Zion to southern Calhoun, with an adjunct line from Millstone to the Russett area. Mt. Zion PSD says Randy Watson, engineer for Gilmer Co. PSD, will review possibilities for reconfiguring the Gilmer system supply lines at Russett-Sassafras Ridge and will be reporting on findings to supply the Mt. Zion Systems needs. The Mt. Zion PSD is looking at the possibility of rebuilding the sewage plant at Arnoldsburg.
