Molly Powell, 76 - Elizabeth

Molly Powell, 76, of Elizabeth West Virginia, reached her final goal November 7, 2014. She has gone on to be with her Lord and Savior and her husband, Clark Powell who passed away in 2009.

Molly was born in Wood County the daughter of the late Lovie and Thelma (Whitlatch) Burdette.

She attended Heart of Worship Church of Parkersburg, WV. She loved being with her family and fishing, but her love for God, and reading her Bible was her ultimate joy In life.

She is survived by her children, Sherry (Tom) Burns of Elizabeth WV, Clay Powell of Parkersburg WV, Mark Powell (her primary care giver) of Elizabeth, Robert "Bob" (Rita) Powell of Parkersburg, and Candy (Jeff) Miller also of Parkersburg; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren and her extended family.

She was preceded in death by both her parents; her loving husband Clark; 2 sisters, Ethel Monroe and Roxie Jobes; and 1 brother, Virgil Burdette.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday November 11, 2014 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV, with Rev. Tim Hanson and Rev. Doug Anderson officiating. Visitation will be Monday November 10, 2014 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Two Riffle Cemetery of Elizabeth WV.
