CALHOUN CIVIL AIR PATROL SUPPORT "WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA" PROJECT - Wreaths Will Be Laid On Local Vets Graves In December

(12/01/2014)
The Wreaths Across America Mission Statement is "Remember (the fallen), Honor (those who serve) and Teach (our children the value of freedom)".

This program is carried out by coordinating wreath laying ceremonies at specified cemeteries on Saturday, December 13.

These ceremonies take place at Arlington, as well as at Veteran's cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states, and 24 national cemeteries on foreign soil.

The Calhoun County Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol would like to honor those who gave up their tomorrows with family and loved ones, so that we can enjoy ours.

On December 13, 2014 we will be placing wreaths on the graves of many of our local Veterans. To make this a success we would appreciate the help of the community.

The "Wreaths" cost $15.00 each, so any donation would be greatly appreciated . We hope to make this project an annual event for the squadron and community.

Donations can be dropped off at the J&B Drug Store in Grantsville or mailed to: Civil Air Patrol, P.O. Box 820, Grantsville, WV 26147.

Checks or money orders should be made out to "Wreaths Across America".
