CHS VOLLEYBALL FINISHES SEASON WITH WINS AND LOSSES

By Angie Hersman Calhoun High School Volleyball Varsity and JV traveled to Parkersburg Catholic on Thursday evening. JV got the win with the clean sweep 2-0 of Parkersburg Catholic to finish their season undefeated at 6-0. Varsity ladies lost 1-3 to Catholic with their season record going to 25-12. CHS Varsity Ladies begin Sectional play at Parkersburg Catholic on Monday evening with Round One against Doddridge County at 6 p.m. JV defeats Parkersburg Catholic 25-17 and 25-18 Tori Allen 7 points (2 aces) 1 kill, 4 digs; Callie Cooper 13 points (2 aces), 7 kills, 3 digs; Amanda Boothe 8 points, 1 kill, 3 digs; Ashley Hersman 11 points (1 ace), 11 kills, 8 digs; Kaylea Bennett, 5 points, 28/28 setting; Makayla Davis 3 points, 6 digs; Alisha Fulks 5 kills, 3 digs, 2 blocks; Mel Starcher 3 points, 6 digs Varsity loses to Parkersburg Catholic 18-25, 25-23, 17-25, 20-25 Hannah Allen 6 points, 6 kills, 1 Block, 2 digs; Shyenne Jarvis 10 points (2 aces), 26 digs; Savannah Rogers 12 points (1 ace), 8 kills, 7 digs; Kayla Lamb 15 points (3 aces), 1 kill, 21 digs; Kenzie Hicks 13 points (2 aces), 20 kills, 3 Blocks, 27 digs; Makayla Smith 16 points (2 aces), 58/59 setting, 3 digs; Taylor Garrett 8 points, 1 kill, 12 digs
