RALEIGH HEIST - Deputies in Raleigh County are investigating an armed robbery at a Little General in Glen Daniel.

the incident Saturday morning when the suspect demanded the clerk give him money from the cash register.

The suspect described as a young, slender white man did make away with some cash.

A description of the weapon was not available.

CHARLESTON STABBING - Charleston Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred on Jackson Street Monday night around 8:30 p.m.

911 dispatchers said the suspect was detained at the scene shortly afterwards.

The victim was taken to an area hospital with a stab wound to the arm. Dispatchers said the weapon was a steak knife.

Dispatchers said police have established an "active crime scene."

No names have been released.

MORGANTOWN DAIRY MART ROBBED - The Morgantown Police Department is looking for a man involved with an armed robbery at a Dairy Mart.

Sunday police responded to a reported armed robbery.

A man with a dark complexion wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and sweat pants entered the store and demanded money.

When the clerk did not respond to the man's request, he grabbed the cash register from the counter and smashed it open on the floor. The man took the cash from the register and ran away, said police.
