Parishioners, community members and former residents returned to the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church this weekend to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the church.

Former pastors Rick Swearingen and Roger Mckee, son of long-time pastor Glendon McKee, returned to deliver sermons.

A number of singing groups provided music, around a special celebration dinner.

Pastor David Weaver offered recognition of several generations that built and attended the community church. "This is a glorious day. We bless them all for their contributions," he said.
