CLAY'S "IRON MIKEY" CHARGED WITH MALICIOUS ASSAULT

A Clay County man Michael "Iron Mikey" Lanham, 40, is in Central Regional Jail, charged with malicious assault and intimidation of a witness. Lanham has been arrested in Clay County about 60 times in the last decade. His bond is set at $183,000. Calhoun authorities have arrested Charles Richard Bell, 25, for probation violation. He is in Central Regional Jail. A Calhoun man, Matthew David Jeffery, 30, was arrested and taken to Central Regional Jail on a bench warrant, related to failure to appear. Paul Austin Truman, 34, was arrested by Clay authorities for battery on a responder, a misdemeanor. Bond at $5,000. Roane authorities arrested Ricky Wayne Snodgrass, 53, who has been charged with making harassing phone calls and is incarcerated in Central Regional Jail.
