CHARLESTON MURDER - A Charleston woman has been charged in connection with the stabbing death of her female roommate.

Patricia Miller faces a second-degree murder charge in the stabbing death of Victoria Summers about midnight on the East End of Charleston.

Summers died about an hour later at Charleston Area Medical Center General Hospital. Summers was stabbed in chest.

It was apparently a disagreement over a lease violation, police said.

HUNTINGTON ROBBERY - A man has been charged with robbing a Huntington deli.

Gregory A. Carter, 27, of Huntington was charged with robbery, according to a criminal complaint filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court.

The Huntington Police Department said the suspect entered Ricky Bobby's Art Deli in Huntington. Police said he showed a knife to the employee, demanded money and fled.

Carter was taken to the Western Regional Jail and bond was set at $75,000.
