WV BLACK WALNUT FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 60 YEARS - Spencer A Festive Town

The 60th West Virginia Black Walnut Festival will be held in Spencer this week through Sunday.

All of the usual and some new attractions and events will take place throughout the weekend.

The carnival is always a highlight of the festival. This year is likely to be the biggest and best carnival you will find anywhere in West Virgina, two carnivals will be combined into one magnificent amusement park. The carnival is located at the City Parking Lot.

Other traditional events are the Art & Photo Show, Bake Contest, Band Competition, Car Show, Craft Show, Flea Market, Flower Show, Food Court, Grand Parade, Kids Day Parade, Live Music, Livestock Show, Nut Run, 4-H Exhibits, Nut Sweepstakes, Quilt Show and so much more.
