WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Beckley Man Murders Wife, Charleston Man Shot Three Times

BECKLEY MURDER - A man who initially reported his wife missing has now been arrested in connection with her murder.

State Police arrested Johnnie Ray Farley, 60, of Raleigh WV.

Farley had reported his wife Lynnette Denise Farley missing from their home.

Investigators believed that foul play was involved, and that her husband had something to do with it.

Lynnette's body was found buried in a shallow grave near the Mercer and Raleigh County line.

Johnnie Ray Farley has been arrested and charged with the First Degree Murder, and remains in the Southern Regional Jail.

CHARLESTON SHOOTING - Charleston police say the victim, 33-year-old Alnoble Hambrick, was shot after leaving a party about 5:00 am on Charleston's West side.

Charleston Police Lt. Steve Cooper says Hambrick was shot three times, once in the upper leg, stomach, and hip.

The man is in stable condition at a Charleston hospital. Lt. Cooper says the suspect fired at least six shots and three of them hit Hambrick.

"It seems clear that Mr. Hambrick was the target of the shooting. We do not know the motive but it's clear from the witness statements that he was in a verbal altercation with the individual that shot him."

According to witnesses, the house is called "The Club." It's a home that's no stranger to violent crime. In 2011, four people were shot inside the home. Less than 100 feet away, was the scene of the shooting on Sunday morning.

Right now, there's no suspects, said police.

MORGANTOWN HOLD-UP - Morgantown Police Department is investigating a strong armed robbery that took place near a Dairy Queen.

Sgt. C. Reyes said officers were called to the scene just after 3 a.m., Sunday. The victim told authorities that five to six black males attacked him and knocked him to the ground. The robbers then his stole wallet and cellphone before fleeing the scene.

The victim suffered minor injuries.
