Wallace Franklin Brannon, 86 - Pineville

Wallace Franklin Brannon, 86, of Pineville WV, passed away Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at The Villages of Greystone.

Born Sept. 15, 1928 in Spencer WV, he was the son of the late Ray Palmer and Sallie Ferrel Brannon.

Wallace was a graduate of the WVU School of Pharmacy. He was the successful owner/operator of Holloway Drug Store in Pineville for many years. After selling the drug store, Wallace continued his profession working for several area pharmacies. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict and a member of Pineville United Methodist Church. Wallace was a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores Evans Brannon; son, Alan Wallace Brannon and his wife, Barbara, of Clarksburg WV; and grandchildren, Lacey Katherine, Alexis Paige and Jacob Alan Brannon, all of Clarksburg.

Following his wishes, Wallace will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pineville United Methodist Church.
