Tressie Gae Blosser, 83 - Spencer

Tressie Gae Blosser, 83, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Miletree Center in Spencer.

She was born April 1, 1931 in Spencer, a daughter of the late Patrick and Bessie Smith Price. She was a former nurses aide at the Spencer State Hospital and Roane General Hospital

. Tressie is survived by five daughters, Ruby (Tim) Benear of Clover, West Virginia, Roberta Price of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Dorothy Blosser and Ruth Ann (Jeff) Jarvis, all of Spencer, and Marilyn Blosser, unknown; two sons, Charles R. and Linda Price of Looneyville, West Virginia and Carl Junior Blosser of Clover; four sisters, Ethel Bogga and Mary Webb, both of Spencer, and Orva Cross and Ann Smith, both of Akron, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sons; one daughter; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters; two brothers; and a great-great-grandchild.

Service will be at 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, with Rev. Donald Cottrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery near Clover. Visiting is one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
