Kenneth Gene Stewart, 45 - Reedy

Kenneth Gene Stewart, 45, of Reedy, West Virginia, died Wednesday, September 24, 2014, in the Roane General Hospital, Spencer.

He was born December 20, 1968, at Ripley, a son of Bill and Dorothy Runnion Stewart of York, SC.

In addition to his parents, survivors include a son, Logan Stewart of South Carolina; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Aaron Lane of York SC; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Denise Stewart of Spencer WV; three nieces and one nephew; fiancée, Susan Sampson of Reedy; her children, Sherri and Shawna Sampson.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dallas and Margarete Westfall; maternal grandparents, Faud and Hattie Runnion.

Kenneth was a timber cutter. His hobbies included deer hunting, fishing, the outdoors and woodworking.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 28 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Darin Cale officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Reedy.

Friends may call two hours before the funeral.
