Cody Ray Nichols, 76 - Spencer

Cody Ray Nichols, 76, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on September 22, 2014 at home.

He was born September 7, 1938 in Kanawha County, a son of the late Clyde Nichols, Sr. and Virginia Dixon Nichols.

He was retired as a laborer in a pharmaceutical warehouse.

He is survived by a daughter, Patricia K. Lisco of Walton, West Virginia; two sons, Anthony Nichols of Sissonville, West Virginia and Kenneth Nichols of New Jersey; four sisters, Barbara Scott of St. Cloud, Florida, Marie Seesholtz of Somerset, Ohio, Delores Jones of Hammond, Indiana, and Deanna Karlen of Elkview, West Virginia; four brothers, Raymond Nichols of Charleston, West Virginia, Roger Nichols of Somerset, and Donald and Clyde Nichols, Jr., both of Dunbar, West Virginia; four grandsons; and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin Nichols; and a sister, Hermie Frances Taylor.

There will be no visitation or service. A memorial service will take place at a later date.

Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, West Virginia, is in charge of the arrangements.
