WOMAN WITH GUN - A woman from Fayette County was arrested Friday night during a Meadow Bridge High School football game and charged with carrying a concealed handgun, according to the county Sheriff's Department.

Lisa Dawn Lizotte, 44, of Meadow Bridge was charged with possessing a firearm on the grounds of a secondary public school, which is a felony. She also was charged with misdemeanor charges, public intoxication and obstructing a police officer.

Deputies said the arrest happened after a disturbance at the football game.

Gun carry on WV school grounds is still illegal in WV, although it has been allowed in Charleston WV run school programs.

HUNTINGTON BAR BRAWL SHOOTING - One person was shot at a bar in Huntington early Saturday morning inside Whiskey Rocks.

on 3rd Avenue in downtown Huntington. Dispatchers confirm one person was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

A witness to the shooting told WSAZ.com that brawl broke out inside the bar, one of the bouncers, who was carrying a concealed weapon, fired a warning shot in the air, but that's when another bar patron pulled out a gun and shot several rounds toward the bouncer.

Officials from the ABCA say the owner of Whiskey Rocks has voluntarily surrendered its license permanently.

RALEIGH MAN DEAD - A man is dead after a shooting in Raleigh County after a fight broke out at a large party shortly after 12:00 a.m. Sunday.

Police say shots were fired.

Roland Howard Frazier was hit by a bullet and later died.

So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the murder.

HOUSE SHOOTING - A Kanawha County man is behind bars accused of shooting a man's house several times.

Police say Joseph Smith heard shots hit his home around 3:00 a.m. Sunday. He ran outside and found 19-year-old Brandon Woodrum running away with a pistol in his hand.

Court documents say Woodrum returned to the scene, where Smith pointed him out to police. Woodrum then tried to run, but was later captured.

He told police he did it because he thought Smith had been "snitching" on him and didn't respect him.

ST. ALBANS MAN MURDERED - A North Carolina man is in a West Virginia jail accused of murdering a man whose body was found in St. Albans City Park earlier this week.

Michael Benbow, 24, is charged with murder.

Benbow is accused of murdering Micah Burdette. Burdette's body was found in St. Albans City Park on Tuesday. Police say he was shot in the head.

Police found several text messages where Burdette had arranged to meet a man named "Smoov" at the park. Police got several tips that Benbow was involved in Burdette's death, who went by the nickname "Smoov."

HUNTINGTON WOMAN STABBED - A woman is recovering after dispatchers say she was stabbed inside an apartment building in Huntington around 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

The victim was taken to the hospital, but is expected to recover. Arrests have yet to be made.

MON COUNTY HEIST - The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department is looking for a man who robbed the Circle-K convenience store around 2 am Friday.

The suspect, who had a handgun. He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

CAR WINDOWS SHOT - Half a dozen people on Charleston's east end will need new car windows, because they were shot out early Saturday morning.

Police believe someone used a pellet or BB gun during a drive-by shooting.

The area is no stranger to car vandalism, and some neighbors say they're fed up.
