NICHOLSON CHARGED WITH DOMESTIC BATTERY, FELON IN POSSESSION OF FIREARM AND PETIT LARCENY

A Spencer resident, Gary Lee Nicholson, 46, was arrested by State Police in Calhoun over the weekend after assaulting his fiancee. Nicholson was a former Calhoun resident. According to a criminal complaint filed by Sgt. M. S. Godfrey, Nicholson allegedly struck the woman several times in the face with his fists, chocking he. The complaint also says he took a Smith and Wesson .38 special valued at $400 from the victim. He is in Central Regional Jail, charged with domestic battery, a felon in possession of a firearm and petit larceny. Bail has been set at $4000.00
