(Standing L-R) Jean Simers, Vivian Dye, Sarah Higgs and Judy
Bowman; (Seated L-R) Loretta Siers, Mary Ann Tilton and JoAnn Ward

The Sunny Cal Gals (above) had their monthly hoot at the Calhoun County Library on Thursday, September 11th. The gals enjoyed a covered dish dinner followed by games.

The gals began making plans for their annual Halloween Party which will be Friday, October 31st at the library beginning at 5:00.

(L-R) Shirley Ball, Yvonne Church,
Juanita Boggs-Saunders, Lorraine Bailey

The Glamour Girls (above) had lunch at the "Y" Restaurant in Arnoldsburg, on September 17th. They were given information on Constitution Week, which started that day and went through the 23rd. It marked the 227th anniversary of the drafting of the Constitution of the United States of America by the Constitutional Convention.

Since two of the gals belong to the DAR, they felt it should be mentioned. They also had Emmett Charles Snyder, Commander of the American Legion Post 21, Spencer, present to sign the Proclamation during their get together.

The group also decided to take a train trip on the New Tygart Flyer, departing from Elkins, on their next scheduled get together date Wednesday, October 15th. They are looking forward to the trip.
