| Richard L. Metheney, 62, of Nebo, West Virginia, was called home August 26, 2014 after a long illness at Charleston Area Medical Center, General Division.
Born December 22, 1951 in Erie PA, a son of Fern Rose and the late Russell Metheney.
He is survived in addition to his mother, by his wife Debra Metheney; daughter Michelle Whitfield; seven foster children; brothers Earnest Metheney and Bruce Metheney; and sister Brenda Samples.
Graveside services will be held Friday August 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moore Fork Cemetery in Big Otter WV, with Rev. Dewey Tanner officiating. Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg is in charge of arrangements.
