In addition to his parents, survivors include his maternal grandparents, Grace Smith and Don Stevens of MacFarlan WV; maternal great grandparents, Judy and Martin Carpenter of Harrisville WV; paternal great grandparents, Rita and Robert Kennedy of Spencer WV.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Coreen Kennedy and Richard Roberts.

A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 25 in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Justin S. Simmons officiating.
