UPDATE: CALHOUN AUTHORITIES SEARCHING FOR COREY MICHAEL BELL, ALIAS "JONES": - Wanted For Attempted Murder Of Baltimore Policeman, Domestic Charges In Grantsville

UPDATE - Bell was arrested early Wednesday morning by the Glenville Police Department on the Glenville State College campus, and gave false identity information. He was charged with three counts of obstructing and was incarcerated in Central Regional Jail.

Grantsville suspect Corey Michael Bell, known using aliases, wanted for domestic dispute and attempted murder of a Baltimore MD policeman, a black male 5'7, 190 lbs, brown eyes and hair in his mid-30s, wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Police say do not approach. Call 911 if seen, or any information call 304-354-9271.

UPDATE - Calhoun authorities are searching for a Grantsville man who fled, likely into the woods, from a domestic violence dispute Tuesday night.

He has been identified as Corey Michael Bell, but has used aliases.

The man, according to Grantsville Police Chief Andy Walker, is wanted for the attempted murder of a Baltimore MD policeman.

The suspect has been residing in Grantsville since last year, reportedly using the alias "Jones." Police have not yet released his previous name.

Responders went to the family residence Tuesday evening following a 911 call for help, at which time the man fled.

At least two family members were taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System for evaluation on non-life threatening injuries. Police were looking at the option of of obtaining tracking dogs Tuesday night.

A 12:15 a.m. Wednesday report from Glenville indicated that a black male was trying to find a ride to Maryland, and police are looking into the report.
