Foster Carl Fore, Jr., 76 - Reedy

Foster Carl Fore, Jr., 76 of Reedy, West Virginia died August 15, 2014 at his home after a sudden illness. He was born February 27, 1938 in Reedy, West Virginia a son of the late Foster Carl and Audry Leary Fore. He was a retired school bus driver for Roane County Schools with 24 years of service. Foster served two tours of duty in Vietnam and was in the US Army for 21 years. He loved horses and his farm, hunting, his guns and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He is survived by two sons, John Fore of Spencer, West Virginia and Steve Fore of Reedy; one grandson, Sawyer Fore; one brother, Mike Fore of Reedy; and four sisters, Linda Romine of Reedy, Dorothy Randolph and Jacqueline Holcomb, both of Spencer, and Dixie Rice of Parkersburg, West Virginia. Per his request, the body was cremated. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements. There will be no service or visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service and scattering of the ashes may be held at a later date at the discretion of the family.
