This group of 8 year olds from Calhoun spent their summer practicing and playing a lot of baseball. played in 18 games. They played 18 games including tournaments at Tri-C fields in Parkersburg, Worthington (Parkersburg), and Ravenswood.

The first tournament brought home a 3rd place finish after a loss in extra innings to Worthington in the semifinals after a 2 day rain delay.

Calhoun won the 3rd place game against Mason via the ten run rule. The Worthington Tournament brought intense competition and Calhoun responded by coming back from 7 runs down with a win against Worthington in the 3rd place game in extra innings.

The Battle in the Wood proved to be another thriller as Calhoun took the championship by once again coming from behind in extra innings against Mason County.

This group of Calhoun kids represented the community well. Umpires, coaches, and other parents gave the group of Calhoun kids numerous compliments and shout-outs because of their sportsmanship and kindness.
