Mountaineer Food Bank of Gassaway is receiving 40,000 energy-efficient fluorescent light bulbs for distribution through multiple food pantries which they serve.
It is part of an initiative by Appalachian Power to inform customers on energy conservation.
The light bulbs will be distributed in packages of four to 10,000 families.
