MONDAY NIGHT STABBINGS UPDATE - Police are now saying that the stabbings of two people in Charleston was a hoax, the victims claiming someone else did the stabbings.

The two victims were apparently using heroin when they got into a dispute.

The two people showed up at a Charleston Fire Station with stab wounds Monday night, and they were rushed to the hospital.

Police say one person was stabbed in the leg, the other in the torso.

Police believe they were stabbed at nearby train tracks in the same area where confidential informant Branda Basham was murdered last month.

CHARLESTON HOLD-UP - Police were on the scene of a robbery Tuesday night at Mimi's Restaurant on the West Side.

According to detectives on scene, a man walked in and brandished a black and silver hand gun and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, and fled on foot.

BIKE ROBBER - Police in Bluefield say a teenager on a bike has been charged with robbing a bank.

Nathaniel Showalter, 19, is charged with robbing a First Community Bank branch on June 23.

Showalter allegedly showed a gun to a teller at the bank's drive-through window, presented a letter demanding money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Showalter is being held in the Southern Regional Jail.
