Denny C. Myers, 68, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Sunday, August 10, 2014, at his home. He was born July 21, 1946, in Jackson County, a son of the late Charles and Elva Richardson Myers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Areta Myers and Mary Myers. Denny was a laborer. Survivors include three daughters, Jo Ann Tyo of Spencer, Diane Myers of Ripley and Patty Myers also of Spencer; three brothers, Roger Myers of Ripley, Jimmy Myers of Kenna and Clyde Myers of Evans; two sisters, Sandra Wolfe of Ripley and Loretta Ashby of Gandeeville; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Jack Roberts officiating.
