Brenda Darlene Stump, 49 - Glenville

Brenda Darlene Stump age 49 of Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life Wednesday evening August 6, 2014 as a result of an automobile accident.

Born January 25, 1965 in Gilmer County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ewell Junior and Virginia Mae Losh Stump.

Brenda was a homemaker and a Pentecostal by faith. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, making candy, tending to a flower garden, Riding ATV's, and drinking her coffee in the mornings.

Surviving are 2 sons, Scotty Lee Curry and fiancée Angel Petrone of Stouts Mills, West Virginia, and Kevin Ray Curry and fiancée Amy Self of Glenville, West Virginia; 3 brothers, Johnny E. Stump and wife Delsie of Burnsville, West Virginia, Roy Lee Stump and wife Sue of Cleveland, Ohio, and Jimmy Stump and wife Patty of Low Gap, West Virginia; and 1 sister, Barbara Webb and husband Mike of Copen, West Virginia.

Brenda is also survived by her fiancé, Richard Shaffer of Glenville; 2 stepchildren, Destiny and William Shaffer of New York; and 4 grandchildren, Rhylee Curry of Pennington Gap, Virginia, Hunter Self, Levi Self, and Arabealla Self all of Glenville, West Virginia.

Along with her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by a stillborn son, Steven Wayne Curry; and 2 brothers, Charles Stump and Ronnie Stump.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc. 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday August 12, 2014 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Fork Cemetery, Sand Fork, West Virginia. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Monday evening at the Mortuary.
