VEHICLE CRASHES INTO TREE ON WHITE PINE ROAD, ERUPTS IN FIRE - Driver, Passenger Escape Uninjured

A driver lost control of his vehicle on White Pine Road Wednesday evening, with the car crashing over an embankment, striking a tree and catching on fire. The driver and at least one passenger escaped the vehicle as it caught on fire. Both were reported to be uninjured and were not transported to the hospital. The vehicle was engulfed in fire when the Grantsville VFD arrived at about 6 p.m., a total loss. Minnie Hamilton EMS responded to the accident.
