PARKERSBURG MAN CHARGED IN ROBBERY - An 18-year-old Parkersburg man Richard P. Miller Jr. is charged with first degree robbery after police say he held another man at gunpoint and took his money and phone.

Police say a Mineral Wells man was a passenger in a parked-car shortly after 7 a.m. at the Erickson Sports Facility when Miller walked-up to the car and pointed a handgun.

They say Miller made the man get out of the car, hand-over his cash and cell phone, and then Miller took-off in the car with the woman who had been in the vehicle with the victim.

Police say those two know each other.
