Barbara Faye McCullough, 73 - Glenville

Barbara Faye McCullough age 73 of Kanawha Street, Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life Thursday Evening, July 24, 2014 at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, Weston, West Virginia, following an extended illness.

Born January 13, 1941 in Gassaway, West Virginia, daughter of the late Walter and Mary Boggs Skidmore.

Barbara was a former employee of McDonalds of Glenville, having served the breakfast crowd for most of the 1990's. She was also a former employee of Kenny Shoe and also worked around the Glenville area in the food service industry. Barb was a member of the Camden Flats Baptist Church with special interest in the youth program "Awana". In her free time she enjoyed attending yard sales, playing cards, working puzzles, and reading.

On January 13, 1977, she was united in marriage to John Jacob McCullough who survives at their Kanawha Street home.

Surviving are 4 children, Mary Ellen McCullough and husband Woody of Glenville, Dewayne "Tiny" Arbogast and wife Kathy of Tennessee, Lonnie Darnell Arbogast of Tennessee, and Angela Dawn Carder and husband Tim of Linn, West Virginia; 5 grandchildren, Scott McCullough, Christopher Arbogast, Megan Arbogast, Taylor Carder, and Summer Carder; and 2 great grandchildren, Leland and Camden McCullough.

There are 4 siblings surviving, Walter Skidmore Jr. and wife Irene of Elyria, Ohio, Jo Ann Skidmore of Tanner, West Virginia, Richard Skidmore and wife Karen of Nitro, West Virginia, and Kathy McCullough of Glenville; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by 1 son, Walter Clayton Arbogast; 1 daughter, Rebecca McCullough; and 1 brother Robert Skidmore.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Camden Flats Baptist Church, 510 Kanawha Street, Glenville, WV., 26351 at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 28, 2014, with Pastor Dwight Goff officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedarville Cemetery, Cedarville, West Virginia. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday Evening at the Camden Flats Baptist Church.
