GILMER MAN FACING ASSAULT WITH FIREARM CHARGES

Gilmer authorities have arrested David Eric Bailey, 34 (left) and charged him with assault and wanton endangerment with a firearm, with a second charge of domestic battery. Bailey is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $40,000. Unconfirmed reports say the victim of the assault was taken by ambulance to the hospital, the extent of injuries unavailable. A Braxton County man has been charged with distributing or displaying obscene material to a minor. Marshall Lee Bailey, 25, is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $30,00.
