A breaking and entering of Cha-Tis Convenience Store in Grantsville resulted in the
reported theft of beer and sandwiches. The B & E occurred during the early morning
hours earlier this week. The store, after being open 24-hours for many years, recently
commenced closing at 11 p.m.
A vehicle ran into a mobile home on Spring Run near Arnoldsburg at 11:30 p.m.
Wednesday, resulting in damage. The Arnoldsburg VFD responded to the call.
Authorities are also investigating the theft of about 300 T-shirts from a vender at the
Molasses Festival and a B & E at the Milo Church.
