MAN PULLS GUN ON POLICE - Daniel Welsh, 37, of Wood County is facing charges in Ravenswood after police said he pulled a gun on an officer. Welsh was taken into custody, following a police search. Multiple agencies responded to assist the Ravenswood Police Department with the incident. KANAWHA STABBING - A Cross Lanes woman has been charged with malicious wounding after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend in the arm during an argument. The Kanawha County Sheriffs Department went to a home about 8 p.m. Monday to investigate a domestic disturbance, according to a criminal complaint. When officers arrived, they heard a man and a woman arguing inside the house, according to the complaint. An officer could see fresh blood on the floorm hearinf a man say, "You stabbed me." Police found Crystal Gail Toler, 23, and Richard Dewayne Rider in the bathroom. Rider had a white cloth wrapped around his arm, over a stab wound. Toler was arrested and charged with malicious wounding. According to the criminal complaint, Toler was out on bond for domestic battery against Rider. She was arrested by Nitro police on May 27.
