JONES ATTEMPTED MURDER CASE WILL BE PRESENTED TO RITCHIE GRAND JURY

An attempted murder case transferred to Ritchie County will be presented to a grand jury on October 6, according to the Ritchie Circuit Clerks office. The attempted murder case against Andrew Drew Jones, 29, of Big Springs, was transferred to Ritchie after it was discovered the incident happened just across the county line. Jones is charged with the attempted murder of his wife, Deana Nelson Jones, 25. He was also charged with kidnapping, malicious assault, wounding, and battery. Jones has been released on bond.
